It’s that time of year, Warhammer fans! Warhammer Skulls, the ultimate celebration of Warhammer video games, is back for its eighth year. The festivities will begin with a showcase hosted by Warhammer superfan Rahul Kohli for the second straight year, and there will be exclusive announcements, reveals, and world premieres.

Showcase Date, Time, and How to Watch

The showcase will be livestreamed on May 23 at 5 p.m. BST/9 a.m. PST. That’s noon for those of you on the East Coast of the U.S., 11 a.m. Central, and 10 a.m. Mountain. IGN will stream the event and you’ll be able to tune in live on any of these channels:

If you can’t catch the showcase live, you’ll still be able to watch the whole show after it’s over on IGN’s YouTube page, just like last year’s show.

What to Expect from This Year’s Showcase

The showcase will be jam-packed with announcements for a bunch of games, including released and unreleased Warhammer titles. The upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, whose September 9 release date is on the horizon, will likely be one of the stars of the show. Space Marine 2 puts you back in the boots of Lieutenant Titus, and last year’s show gave us a glimpse of some of the intense action gameplay we can expect. This year is shaping up to give us even more.

On the released game side of things, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader came out in December, making now a prime time for updates or new info. The epic isometric RPG emphasized player decisions and character alignment, and it was a hit with our IGN reviewer thanks to excellent writing and combat.

With Kohli back as host, you know there will also be updates about Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. The retro-styled FPS, which starred Kohli as the voice of protagonist Malum Caedo, was clearly inspired by iconic shooters of the past, with a design and art style that was a love letter to the ’90s. Boltgun was released just days before last year’s showcase, so what reveals could be waiting this year?

That’s just scratching the surface of what could be featured. There should also be news and reveals for Total War: Warhammer, Blood Bowl 3, Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, and more. Plus, the May 23 showcase only marks the start of Warhammer Skulls. The celebration will last one week, with special discounts and freebies offered. That includes up to 90% off Warhammer titles, as well as new content, DLCs, and free updates across several platforms, including Steam, Epic, PlayStation, and Xbox.
