What Is Super Mario RPG?

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is a 1996 role-playing spin-off developed by Square for the SNES. IGN even reviewed the game in 2012 when it hit the Virtual Console, awarding it a 9/10. “… it’s a classic, deep, fun, and cult-appealing installment in the Mario series that no Nintendo gamer should go without playing,”

Nintendo has said that the RPG remake features a complete overhaul with new graphics. The RPG features Mario teaming up with his allies to face down a menacing force known as the Smithy Gang in order to recover seven stars and repair the Star Road. Characters like Mario, Bowser, Princess Peach, and original characters Mallow and Geno, will all return for the remake.
