Samsung first launched the Z Flip lineup in 2020. Since then, a few versions of this flip phone have been released. The company’s most recent Unpacked event showed off plenty of new hardware, such as updated iterations of these foldable phones. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is still one of our favorite models and we expect prices to drop with the release of this new phone. But upgrading to the brand new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 with all the bells and whistles may pique your interest instead, and you can preorder yours now. There are tons of preorder offers available including free storage and trade in discounts. Check them out below.

There are plenty of reasons to consider an upgrade. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, along with a 6.7-inch AMOLED main screen and a 3.4-inch AMOLED cover screen. And for photos and videos, the Z Flip 6 has a 10-megapixel front camera and a rear dual camera setup, with a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera. The phones come with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.

Best unlocked Galaxy Z Flip 6 deals

If you preorder your Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 directly from Samsung, you can get a free storage upgrade. That means you’ll pay just $1,050 for the 512GB model. And if you have an eligible phone to trade in, you can get up to $650 in trade-in value, which brings the price of that same model to as low as $500.

Additionally, you can save 25% off a pair of Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, the Galaxy Watch Ultra or the Galaxy Watch 7 with your purchase of the Z Flip 6.

Like at Samsung, Amazon is doubling the storage for free, meaning you can preorder the 512GB Galaxy Z Flip 6 for just $1,100. Plus, Amazon is sweetening the deal with a bonus $200 gift card thrown in with your purchase, essentially netting you a savings value of $320.

Best Buy is also matching Samsung’s preorder deal, doubling the storage for free. Plus, the phone is discounted a little more. You can get the 512GB phone for $1,000.

You’ll also receive a $200 Best Buy gift card with your purchase and a one-month Xbox Game Pass membership.

And if you trade in an eligible phone you can receive up to $460 in trade-in credit.

Best Galaxy Z Flip 6 deals with a carrier

AT&T is doubling the storage on your Z Flip 6 when you preorder. Plus, the carrier is offering up to $1,100 off with an eligible trade-in, which nets you this phone for free.

You need to pick or upgrade to an unlimited plan. As for the trade-in offer, the requirements are pretty generous. You can trade in any Galaxy S, Note or Z Series smartphone from any year, in any condition or an eligible smartphone with trade-in value of $35 or higher. Just note that the savings will be paid out over 36 months via monthly credit installments.

T-Mobile is also getting in on the free storage upgrade. You can preorder your Z Flip 6 at T-Mobile and get $1,100 back via 24 monthly bill credits when you add a new line on a Go5G Plus or Go5G Next plan. Already a T-Mobile customer? You can also score these same savings if you trade in an eligible device on those same two plans. That gets you this phone for free.

Eligible devices include Samsung Galaxy S9 and newer, Note 9 and newer, and any of the Z series lineup, as well as Apple iPhone 11 and newer, One Plus 9 Pro 5G and newer, Google Pixel 6 and newer, and Motorola Razr Plus 2023. Some older models may be eligible to receive up to $550 off.

If you’re not on those plans, there are also trade-in deals available that can get you up to $500 off.

Right now Xfinity Mobile is offering customers up to $800 in savings on a new Galaxy Z Flip 6 phone. To score the deal, new customers can transfer your number and get a new line with Xfinity Mobile to get $800 in device credits applied to your monthly statement. And existing customers can upgrade a device, scoring up to $800 in credits when you trade-in your old phone.

But even if you don’t have a device to trade in, you can still score a $500 device discount.

Verizon is offering double the storage on preorders as well, scoring you the 512GB version for the same price that the 256GB model would usually go for. Additionally, the carrier is offering up to $800 in savings when you trade in your old phone.

Whether you’re a new customer getting a new line of service or you’re an existing customer looking to upgrade, Verizon is currently taking select phones in any condition — but you must be on the company’s Unlimited Ultimate plan to take advantage of this deal.
