You can listen to an early preview of Carpenter’s new album Short n’ Sweet right now, thanks to a new Instagram feature.

Sabrina Carpenter “leaves quite an impression” in her new song Taste, which you can listen to a preview of now before her full album drops tonight at midnight. The clip is exclusively on Instagram and shows off the platform’s new retro music feature.

Carpenter’s new album, Short n’ Sweet, will be released this Friday. It will have 12 tracks, including her singles Espresso and Please Please Please. Instagram is getting in on the fun with a couple of Easter eggs, including giving Notes featuring her song names or lyrics a Sabrina-themed makeover and releasing a new baby blue chat theme for DMs with the same look as her album cover.

If you feel like Instagram’s new profile song feature sounds familiar, you’re right — it’s similar to one of the many iconic features of the early-aughts social network MySpace. The feature is rolling out today for all users globally. If you don’t see the clip yet on Carpenter’s page, don’t panic. Rolling out new features can take time, and once you have access to the new feature, the song teaser will pop up on Carpenter’s profile and you’ll be able to add a song to your own page. 

Instagram has been expanding the ways you can share music on the platform. Earlier this summer, it added a new Add Yours Music feature that lets you create and respond to other people’s prompts with songs, promoted as part of a campaign for Dua Lipa’s latest album, Radical Optimism.
