Joining the 2023 Ram Heavy Duty truck range is the new 2500 Rebel.

The Rebel features an exterior design similar to the Power Wagon, but features a unique hood and black Rebel badges.

The standard engine is a 6.4-liter gasoline-powered Hemi V8, but the Rebel is also available with Ram’s 850 lb-ft, 6.7-liter Cummins turbo-diesel block.

You get 20-inch wheels as standard equipment, with 33-inch off-road tires. Later, 18-inch wheels will join the order sheet.

Regardless of the engine chosen, the 2500 Rebel boasts a 16,870-pound maximum towing capacity.

Off-road performance is augmented by a standard electronic rear locker and a rear limited-slip differential.

Skid plates are also standard and protect the transfer case from rocks, stumps and other obstructions.

The 2023 Ram HD 2500 Rebel goes on sale later this year starting at $68,940 including destination.
