With the Nintendo Switch tenure closing next year, if one is to believe the online speculation, it’s a great time to fill up those Pokémon collection gaps. Thanks to a clearout at Walmart, trainers can catch some legendary bargains right now. Physical and digital games are available in the sale, including mainline and spin-off titles. Don’t think this is odd(ish); this is the real deal. Here’s a rundown of every discounted Pokémon Nintendo Switch game right now.

With the recent announcement of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the best thing trainers can do to cure the itch right now is to play Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Held by many as one of the best Pokémon games in recent memory, Arceus introduces some revolutionary gameplay mechanics for the series. While spinning the overall story tropes on its head, these much-needed refreshes make Legends: Arceus a breath of fresh Hisuian air.

In the distant future of Hisui are Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, featuring a remade Sinnoh region that’s a 1:1 faithful rendition of the original games on Nintendo DS. While they do little to move the Pokémon formula forward, they’re not supposed to. Fans of Sinnoh should feel right at home here, with the discounted price making up for the underwhelming underground mechanic. With these three games down to $40, you’re looking at a decent price for any entries you might have missed in recent years.

We’re also keeping an eye out for Pokémon Squishmallow and Funko Pop! preorders to ensure trainers get everything related to a Pocket Monster in 2024.
