Apple Arcade, a CNET Editors’ Choice award pick, added the first level-based runner in the Temple Run franchise and the award-winning Vampire Survivors to the service, and subscribers can play those games and more now.

The service has familiar and classic games, as well as exclusive titles you can play for $7 a month (£7, AU$10) or $50 a year. You can find many of these games in the App Store, but they have paywalls and ads that might impinge your gaming experience. You can play each game without paywalls and ads by using an Apple Arcade subscription.

Apple Arcade added Outlanders 2: Second Nature and more in July, and these are the games the service added in August.

It’s up to you to vanquish hordes of vampires and survive until dawn in this BAFTA award-winning game. This retro-looking gothic horror game has rogue-like elements and overwhelming waves of monsters to take down. This version of the game also includes the expansions Legacy of the Moonspell and Tides of the Foscari. So get your garlic, crosses and holy water ready — you’re going to need them.

Apple Arcade subscribers can access these games in Apple Arcade on Aug. 1, but there are plenty of other games to play on the service now for $7 a month or $50 annually. You can also try Apple Arcade for free for one month with your first sign-up, or you can get a free three-month trial when you buy a new Apple device. To access Apple Arcade, open the App Store on your iOS or iPadOS device and tap the joystick in the menu bar.

For more on Apple Arcade, here are the games the service added in July, June and May.
