Securing your home is vitally important. Not only to protect your belongings when out of the house but also to give you that peace of mind when sleeping at night. Ring is a specialist in that department, with an array of security cameras to pick from. While not usually the cheapest, Amazon has reduced the price of a Ring Spotlight Cam Plus to its lowest ever price of $110. That’s a 35% discount, representing a saving of $60, on one of our favorite home security cameras with lights. The Amazon deal is matching a Best Buy sale, so we expect the price will go up at Amazon at the end of the day, too.

We like the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus as it can be set up in all kinds of spaces where other light sources might be lacking, such as a porch, entryway or yard, thanks to its compact design and bright LED panels. That’s especially true of the battery-powered variant which doesn’t require hardwiring and Ring’s quick-release battery design makes it easy to recharge it without disturbing the spotlight angle.

As well as a spotlight, this camera offers a 1080p HD video stream and has highly customizable motion detection which helps conserve battery life. There’s two-way audio for speaking to guests or delivery drivers via the Ring app, and voice control is also available via Alexa devices
