My Ride-or-Die Water Bottle Is Now Up to 50% Off for Labor Day [CNET]

I never go anywhere without my water bottle, to the point where I consider it a security blanket of sorts. Essentially, I never want to be dehydrated, and this water bottle guarantees that with its 40-ounce capacity. I’m talking about the Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Stainless Steel Water Bottle, which I received as a gift at a previous job in 2021. I’ve been using and loving it ever since.

The best part is that Hydro Flask is currently part of a Labor Day sale on Amazon, down from $50 by as much as 50%, depending on what color you get.

Now, you may think that 40 ounces sounds like a bit much, but I actually prefer the larger size. While it doesn’t fit in my car cup holders (though you can buy a car cup holder expander), I genuinely don’t mind because I prefer having a larger volume of water at my disposal. Knowing that I’ll never be dehydrated or have to buy a disposable water bottle is comforting.

Hydro Flask is also perfect on a hot day since it keeps drinks cold for 24 hours — even when sitting inside my car while it bakes in the sun. Though I’ve only used it for cold water, you can use the bottle for hot drinks, which it will keep hot for up to 12 hours. I’ve also never had issues with the water bottle leaking, though I’m diligent about tightening the cap before I throw it on my passenger seat.

When it comes time to clean your Hydro Flask, you simply have to toss it in the dishwasher. However, once the appliance does its job, I will often use a bottle brush to give my Hydro Flask an extra scrub. After three years of using and dish-washing this bottle, it ‘ still in amazing condition, aside from some slight discoloration on the carrying loop.

Speaking of the carrying loop, if you have one of the smaller versions (such as the 20- or 32-ounce), you may even be able to clip the bottle onto your purse or backpack comfortably. However, my 40-ounce bottle is too large for that.

The last feature I love about this Hydro Flask is the wide mouth. I dislike water bottles with built-in straws because they are difficult to clean and can easily trap bacteria. That is not a problem with my Hydro Flask, which is effortless to drink from and has no crevices that are tough to get clean.

If you are looking for a new water bottle to support all your hydration needs, I highly recommend you take advantage of this Labor Day deal. The 20-ounce Hydro Flask is also discounted up to 40%, while the 32-ounce version is up to 50% off.

Cheers!
