Marvels’ Spider-Man 2 Patch 1.001.004 Stamps Out Bugs, Duplicate Eyes, More [IGN]

Insomniac has released yet another update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, this time fixing a number of bugs.

Spider-Man 2 patch 1.001.004, out now for the PlayStation 5 exclusive, targets bugs that caused players to get stuck in the game world, as well as a fun bug that caused the Upgraded Classic suit to have duplicate eye details.

Here are the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 update 1.001.004 patch notes in full:

General Fixes & Polish:

• Addressed an issue where players could become stuck during the finale of Marko’s Memories
• Addressed an issue where a boss could become stuck in geometry
• Addressed multiple issues where the player could become stuck during the Galvanize tutorial
• Addressed an issue where players with shortcuts enabled could become stuck in a puzzle during the New Threads mission
• Addressed an issue where the Charge Jump would break when assigned to a shortcut
• Addressed an issue where the Upgraded Classic suit had duplicate eye details
• Further addressed issues where models would not load properly after long play sessions
• Improved stability

Spider-Man 2 is PlayStation’s fastest-selling game ever over a 24-hour period, with an impressive 2.5 million copies sold in just a day.
