Keke Palmer made a surprise appearance at the Made by Google event Tuesday as the company revealed new AI features and a look at the Pixel 9. Shortly after, Jimmy Butler came out to demonstrate Google’s ‘Add Me’ technology.

Palmer, who is a well-known actor, singer and author, briefly walked out on stage to promote her forthcoming book, Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative, before inviting event attendees to join her at the first-ever Made by Google afterparty on Youtube.

“No guest lists. No wristbands. It’s a VIP after party where everybody’s invited,” Palmer said before walking off stage.

Butler posed for a photo using the Add Me feature, which allows users to edit other people into photos.

Celebrity pop up ups not unprecedented: Palmer and Butler’s appearances come on the heels of last month.
