Unless you’ve been trapped battling monsters in an actual dungeon, you probably already know that the 50th anniversary of the world’s greatest role-playing game has already been off to a magnificent start, owing in part to the plethora of new collectibles fans will be able to get their mage hands on. The latest lineup includes some new iconic characters and creatures imagined as plushies and figures.

First up, behold the beholder! Now reimagined as a 7″ blank resin art figure for your painting pleasure, the eye tyrant is take center stage in your display cabinet.

Dungeons & Dragons 50th Anniversary – Beholder Art Figure Slideshow

Perhaps the most recognizable creature in D&D, this online-exclusive figure is designed to be customized to your heart’s content, but if you’d rather leave that to the professionals, it also comes in 50th Anniversary Black and Gold edition or a Glow-in-the-Dark version (both featured in the slideshow above).

All three of these figures will be available in September, with the Blank version costing $59.99, and the glow-in-the-Dark and 50th anniversary versions available for $79.99.

Next we’ve got a callback to the 1984 adventure module, Quest for Heartstone, with Strongheart himself available as a 7″ scale action figure.

Dungeons & Dragons 50th Anniversary – Limited Edition Strongheart Figure Slideshow

An updated version of the original figures sold back in the day, older fans are likely to remember this playable paladin from Heartstone, which is lovingly known as one of the worst adventure modules D&D ever received. Still, our lad Strongheart is a bonafide part of D&D history and worthy of immortalizing into this retro painted figure, complete with sword and sheath, dagger, cape, and articulated helmet visor. This legend will be available in April for $29.99.

Next up, if you need to add something a little more retro to your plushie collection, then the upcoming Sacred Statue fuzzy friend might be more your speed.

Dungeons & Dragons 50th Anniversary – Sacred Statue Plushie Slideshow

Originally featured on the original player’s handbook, this is just about as iconic as a creature can get! Featuring two gems for eyes and, of course, its fiery bowl, this plushie stands at 13″ tall and is designed to be hugged by those with fond memories of first edition D&D. Unfortunately this construct won’t come to life and attack you if you steal its eye, but a bard can dream. This stone buddy will be available in July for $34.99.

Finally, are some adorable, limited-edition gem wyrmling plushies that come in five flavors: amethyst, crystal, emerald, sapphire, and topaz.

We previously covered Wizkids’ kicking off the the D&D 50th anniversary festivities with their largest minis set ever, and a limited complete edition of the Tomb of Annihilation minis (including our boy Acererak). At this pace, we’re on track to have an absolutely stellar year for Dungeon & Dragons collectors everywhere, so keep your eyes peeled for more announcements in the near future!
