Mr. Throwback is a mockumentary-style show that features Pally as Danny, a hapless memorabilia collector looking to reinvent his life. Once upon a time, Danny was a mighty athlete during his youth, but his hard luck compels him to seek help from his childhood friend — a fictionalized version of Steph Curry — who’s now a pro basketball player. They haven’t connected in about 20 years. What could possibly go wrong?
A camera follows the pair as Curry sets out aiming to get his old buddy on the right track.
