Helldivers 2 PC Specs and PS5 Crossplay Support Revealed [IGN]

Sony has announced the PC specifications for Arrowhead Game Studios’ upcoming Helldivers 2, and confirmed crossplay between PlayStation 5 and PC.

Helldivers 2 is a third-person squad-based shooter published by Sony Interactive Entertainment as a sequel to 2015’s top-down shooter Helldivers. There’s multiplayer for up to four players.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Katherine Baskin, Social Media and Community Manager at Arrowhead Game Studios, announced the crossplay support, which means teammates on PC can play with you on PS5 and vice versa.

“Community and teamwork are the most important pillars of Helldivers 2, and so it is essential to ensure players can work together regardless of the system they choose to use,” Baskin said. “Together we can celebrate victories, mourn losses, and liberate the galaxy without platform boundaries.”
