Celebrate the holidays — both Halloween and Christmas — early with a spookily charming new Lego set. Disney’s Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is a treat for fans of the 1993 movie, featuring iconic scenes from Halloween Town.

With 2,293 pieces, this new Lego set comes complete with the Town Hall, Jack Skellington’s house and a faithful representation of Spiral Hill, with space to pose minifigures of Jack and Sally against a full-moon backdrop. The three locations can be displayed as separate modules or connected to form a larger diorama.

The buildings in the new Disney Lego set are gorgeously detailed, both inside and outside, and their roofs can be easily removed. Other highlights are the walking bathtub, a ghoulish green fountain and a graveyard that can be filled with pumpkins or Christmas presents.

The minifigure selection for the Nightmare Before Christmas set goes above and beyond. Jack Skellington sports appropriately long legs (only recently added to Lego’s parts inventory), and Zero the ghost dog is a new custom piece exclusive to this set. The Mayor, a brick-built figure, comes with his signature cone-shaped, two-faced head. Rounding out the collection are minifigures of Sally, Santa Clause, Lock, Shock and Barrel.

This new Lego set will be available Sept. 6 (or Sept. 3 for Lego Insiders), and it retails for $200 — not an insignificant chunk of change, but it’s half the price of Home Depot’s 13-Foot Jack Skellington.
