Dungeons & Dragons has teamed up with UK postal service Royal Mail to create a line of D&D stamps and other merchandise to celebrate the role-playing game’s 50th anniversary.

A line of 14 stamps are available to preorder today, July 11, 2024, and will launch fully on July 25. Beloved D&D artist Wayne Reynolds illustrated the set, which includes iconic monsters such as a Red Dragon, Owlbear, Vecna, Gelatinous Cube, Mind Flayer, Mimic, Displacer Beast, and Beholder.

The remaining six stamps represent heroes of The Forgotten Realms, seemingly a tiefling rogue, half elf bard, gnome cleric, elf fighter, dwarf paladin, and draconian wizard.

Royal Mail has plenty of other products on offer, including myriad posterized versions of the stamps costing up to £150 (around $190). The standard stamp set costs £15.40 (around $20), however, while post cards, limited edition collector’s books, and medal covers are all available on the Royal Mail store too.

D&D’s 50th anniversary celebrations are also ushering in the first change to the Core Rulebooks in a decade as 5th Edition rules transition to One D&D rules. It officially begins September 17, 2024 with the Player’s Handbook but won’t launch fully until the Dungeon Master’s Guide and Monster Manual arrive on November 12, 2024 and February 18, 2025 respectively.

Publisher Wizards of the Coast has also announced the biggest miniature booster set ever to celebrate the anniversary and has been slowly but surely sharing tidbits of information about the new rules too.
