Don’t Miss Out! Apple’s AirPods Max Are Just $399 This Labor Day [CNET]

It’s impossible to look at buying a new pair of high-end headphones without coming across the AirPods Max headphones from Apple. These are some of the best headphones on the market right now, and we have the review to prove it. CNET editor David Carnoy said they deliver richer, more detailed sound than lower-priced competitors from established audio outfits like Bose and Sony. Unfortunately, quality like this is never going to come cheap. A pair of these headphones would normally set you back $549, a figure that will no doubt put some potential buyers off. Thankfully, as part of this year’s Labor Day sales, Amazon has slashed the price by $150, bringing the cost down to just $399. That’s only slightly more than the best price we’ve seen so far, and you even get to choose between multiple color finishes.

Apple’s AirPods Max have active noise cancellation, which lets you tune out the world when you need to focus on work, calls or other important tasks. Transparency mode lets you listen to your favorite media while remaining aware of what’s going on around you. You can also use features like personalized audio for sound that’s customized to your ear shape, as well as dynamic head tracking that makes spatial audio feel like it’s coming from all around you.
