A custom data center from Nubis Communications and Alphawave Semi showcased a PCIe 6.0 connection that hit the specification’s theoretical bandwidth of 64 gigatransfers per second late last month. The performance doubles the data rate of PCIe 5.0, which recently began appearing in the latest consumer PCs.
