While a little older, the 10.2-inch iPad from 2021 is still a solid option. It lacks USB-C support, but it’s an excellent price, which makes it a good choice for kids or just as a backup option.

This iPad Air is an excellent choice for anyone who wants a fast and efficient device. It’s got power and speed aplenty, and while the screen isn’t the best on the market, it still does a good job at streaming shows and handling late-night work sessions. However, it isn’t the newest model and is increasingly difficult to find. Right now it’s out of stock and the newer 6th-gen model might be a better bet.

Our review team noted this generation iPad Pro was the best for Apple pencils users but that’s not the only thing this model has going for it. The powerful M2 chip isn’t as cutting edge as the M4 chip, but this iPad still gets the job done and then some. Plus it’s $200 less than usual, and trading in a similar device could get you up to $300 in trade-in credit.
