This is where technology really comes into it’s own.  We may not have a robot cook that we can pull out our smartphone app and instruct to make us our favorite meal and have it ready and on the table when we arrive home just yet… but that day is coming.  And much sooner than you may believe!

But what we do have today is mind-boggling.  We have systems (primarily for businesses) that can recognize a persons face when they enter the building late at night, and light their path for them to their office.  Lighting systems can automatically turn off at set times, and even turn on when the ambient light in the room lowers to a certain level.  Air conditioners can auto adjust based on the temperature outside and even based on the forecast for the next day!

The complexities involved in home (and business) automation systems can be very daunting to most people.  Which is why there’s people like me and my colleagues around to help you every step of the way!  Whether it’s just a bit of guidance or completely taking the project off your hands and ensuring everything is setup, working brilliantly, and that you know how everything works. We can even provide you with step by step guides!

There are various automation systems available today, but these are the primary ones available to everybody:

  • Amazon Echo (with Alexa voice-based assistant)
  • Google Home
  • Samsung SmartThings
  • Wink Hub
  • Josh.ai
  • More to be added…
